System Overview

The WES-1 Block I represents a paradigm shift in asymmetric kinetic warfare. Designed from the ground up to utilize commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components where possible without sacrificing terminal performance, it brings the cost per engagement to unprecedented lows. Optimized for swarm employment, a single volley can easily overwhelm point defense systems. Paired with a solid-rocket propulsion system, the WES-1 achieves high-subsonic dash speeds while maintaining pulling capabilities required to track and intercept evasive targets.

Concept of Operations (CONOPS)

"Primarily utilized in high-density swarm attacks. WES-1 effectors are launched in mass volleys from concealed Vanguard systems or aerial platforms, immediately forming a collaborative mesh network in-flight. They execute terrain-following, low-altitude ingress to limit radar horizon detection. In the terminal phase, the swarm executes a coordinated multi-axis engagement that saturates enemy point defenses, reliably neutralizing high-value SAM sites, radar nodes, and soft infrastructure."
